I don't think you'll notice much difference really.....the manifold and first stages will now be as close to the centre of gravity as possible. If anything you might end up feet heavy if you use Scubrapro Jetfins or Turtles but I suspect nowt much will change

IME if you can comfortably reach your valves your trim will be fine.

I have hummed and haaa'd about this, and instead of shelling out all that dosh, I've decided to try inverting. Eeyore and I spent a day this week fettling and reconfiguring my regs and tanks to do just that.

It's one of those things I thought about, but went for the new suit instead.

So, I'm off to silty-bottomed old Ellerton tomorrow for a play - wish me luck with the shutdowns (I just hope that I trim out okay as I don't want to try them out at the Stoney gig and risk looking like a pillock ).

Why should i be the only one then? At least you have a new set up to blame when it goes wonky. I will only have myself to blame when it goes wrong because i have taken my mask off or got the stages round the wrong way.

Thanks to all the kind peeps who have offered hints and tips over the last few months. I'll let you know how I get on.

Oh and Moz - I seem to be getting further and further away from ever doing my Fundies, don't I?

LOL! Something has to work for me before I resort to shelling out for a new suit. If you'd seen me at Capers a few weeks ago with the tanks practically over the top of my head and still unable to reach the valves you'd have chuckled! A slob knob was never gonig to work either, as I couldn't reach the pillar vlaves let alone the manifold!
