| At the DOC in December an award winning diver location device was presented to the people present. The remit to the manufacturers was it had to be small, have good range and not be too expensive. The transponder is small enough to fit onto a divers arm and has various alarms. The base / boat unit can track a number of divers and be used to signal individual divers by text messages. I think the cost was less than £300 Phil |
