Nope. I don't think I would want one of them.

No, mainly due to the time it takes me to write a text "HELP! NEED AIR!" and send it....I would have run out of air by then!

Errrm, preset messages.....so no typing, just touch and go....
"watch out for that shark"....... really useful

How about "smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for brekfast"?

I might be worried about accidental use, but otherwise it looks interesting.

Cheers, Paul

Doubt I'd use it. The Text thing is a gimick. The homing signal I wouldn't use either (I haven't rushed out to buy one of those Neverlost things). So the only useful thing is the SOS beacon.

"Watch out for the shark!"
everybody grabs for their cameras but it's half a kilometer away.

"I have run out of air so I'm wasting the last moments of my life texting you rather than swimming vertically like mad."

text "hit me with that fin again and Ill turn your air off" or just buy an EPRB as its functional, in this day and age, do we have to always try and replace common practice with technology, hand signals, have worked for many years in diving, slates, or a mumble through your reg? We may end up forgetting why we dive, to get away from all the beeps, flashes and irrating ringing tones, if I ever hear that Frog underwater Ill be done for manslaughter!!

Hmmm is it possible to type a mesage on that when your wearing 5mm gloves or infact any gloves. I have enough trouble pressing the right button on my puter with gloves on yet alone trying to spell.

Thats absolutely rediculous, especially at that price tag of $1500. Would rather spend that on something useful like a FFM and comms, if i wanted to communicate underwater. And not be limited to just 16 preset texts.

cant see much use for it. I fancy the idea of comms but i fear that the step to being able to answer a phone under water isnt far away
