All good ideas, but a huge puff or 2 of NO2 helps us blokes make 'sensible' suggestions during the tricky final moments.

PS Chaps, if you try this yourself, remember to have lots of aspirin on hand for the broken jaw

I seem to remember that the pain levels were greatly exaggerated...they must have been or else why did she insist on having more?

ha ha ha ha
blokes... making sensible suggestions at a time like that. That'll be the day.
(unless, of course, it is somethign like 'shall i squish my nuts in a vice' which would be eminantly sensible)

nitrogen is great, mix it with 21 percent of oxygen and you get the perfect diving gas

Noooooo.....

There are worse mixes but only just.
You only use that rubbish when you're so shallow it really doesn't matter what you use and you might as well have something free.

Come to think of it if the dive is that shallow I'll use the IDA and breath no nitrogen at all.

I'm blatantly being a big naughty wind up merchant, apologies - but I think you know that
although it's the only option for freediving...

not quite true

some have been knowen to breathe pure O2 for a few minutes before the dive to saturate the blood. its the co2 build up that makes the breathe reaction not a lack of o2
