Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Was Aqualeisure.

Not a very informative website though.

Was Aqualeisure (or rather the staff will be ex-AL) but it isn't on the same premises.

Basically the ex-Aqualeisure staff in a new premises.

They have a nicely laid out shop, smaller than the old places, but they only do diving stuff (none of the skiing, snowboarding stuff that they used to have).

The have an O2 clean room (was getting IDEST inspected end last week/beginning of this week) and are going to be doing regulator servicing and cylinder testing. The regs that they will be able to service will include Scubapro and (I think) Cressi, but not Apex (which is a bit of a bummer as all bar 2 of my regs are Apex ). It also looks as if they may well be going down the M26 route - a bit of consumer feed back may change that though.

They have a compressor and can do air/nitrox up to 300bar. Note: when I used to use Aqualeisure the 300bar fills were 300bar and the 300bar nitrox was usually spot on erpcentage wise.

Unfortunately they do not have a booster so I doublt 200bar+ O2 fills. They also do not do He.

They do have a good area set aside for a classroom for courses, including whiteboard and a projector.

Training is standard PADI stuff plus they have someone who is supposed to be doing some tech training - no idea what though (but I'd guess DSAT - that is just a guess though!.

Oh, and before anyone asks - no I don't work for them!

Consumer feedback on servicing Apex regs might be worthwhile, it is not as if they are a minority make.

minsterhousedog saw the sea in a book once
Been down there a couple of times and they've been pretty helpful. It's also only a mile from my house which helps! If you need to get to them then follow this link to multimap. Maps of the world, country map search - powered by Multimap

Got an air fill yesterday, which was £3.80 for 15l.

Re Apex - apparently something to do with the amount of Apex stock they need to carry before Apex will let them have the service kits.

At least that is what I was told

I have never heard of that re stock levels and service kits. Our club manages to get service kits no problems from Apeks possible because the member was trained to service them by Apeks staff.
