| Glad I booked Virgin for my upcoming trip to Japan! Last time to Japan, I flew with Air France, my bags were lost both ways. Only mine on a jumbo jet, both ways!! I flew British airways the 1st time I went, but I can't complain about that trip. Glad no one is hurt. Chris |

| A couple of guys in the office were on the flight - One of them only noticed they had to get off when shouted at as he was doing a sudoku.. |

| I'm glad my flight back from LA got in a couple of hours before this one....I'd probably still be circling now or worse......rerouted to LGW! At least there were no major injuries or fatalities. |

However, the faces of the reporters desperately trying to fill the endless air time on 24 hour news channels tell another story. The feeling that they're gutted that thing missed the road and didn't explode into a fireball is almost palpable. I hate rolling news, so there. |

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |

![]() The company I work for manufacture the landing gear ribs for Airbus A320/321/340 EIS and -600 and A380 (now they are huge) and the Pintle pins. Gear ribs are machined aluminium forgings and bolted to the wings, to which the landing gear is bolted to. A large 'Pintle pin' made from hardened steel forging locates said gear rib through brass bushes fitted in the gear rib. I can only presume the Boeing derivitive are of a similar nature.
