My favourite crime...
...is "Assault on persons preserving wreck"

It's listed as a specific offence in the Offences Against the Persons Act 1861. So next time you're cleaning up a porthole, or flushing the salt out of a cannonball, you can rest assured that there is a specific charge available to the police if someone tries to stop you. It holds a maximum sentence of seven years.

I'm not sure my favourite crime is actually a crime. Does anyone know if it's actually unlawful to give rohypnol to livestock?

At last! After over 4000 posts, something I actually know about. Did I mention that I work in anaesthetics..? They are a different type of drug. Ketamine is an MDMA receptor antagonist whereas rohypnol is a benzodiazepine.

Both work on goats though..

When i worked at the vets we used to dispense this stuff which is basically like GTN spray but in cream form. The idea was you used to put a certain amount onto a dogs ears to allow it to be absorbed. However, a side effect of this was it drastically lowered blood pressure and if a human got a large enough dose, you would faint. Soooooo, imagine the fun they had when someone smeared it on the bog seat

sorry for going off topic and i promise i arent being a smart arse as you obviously know more than me working in anaesetics, i thought that drugs such as ketamine and mdma affected dopamine and seratonin production and that there wasnt an mdma receptor ??
