this can be done meet a few diabetic divers who take a bigger intake before the dive but if that does not last they may need a wee hit just a bit size mars bar etc, this is true. Its not some thing they would do reg...

during long-staged deco dives you should replace lost fluids, if you have a pee-valve and are peeing you need to top up,

i have seen people eating bananas, mars bars, my old nitrox instructor got his knife and scraped some kind of shellfish of a wreck in portland harbor and scoffed it down and put his reg back in and carried on with my course!!!

it is possible to drink underwater.

Howevr, I suspect that what you mean is the practice of proper drinking. Apparently, the lucozade and other drinks in packets with seals is easy.

Someone has told me that whilst it is possible to eat, don't take a huge bite of mars bar or snickers or something because they clog your mouth up and it is difficult to get a breath until your mouth is empty. Little bites, apparently

Not seen it done but I believe those one portion plastic Ribina cartons/packets can be drunk underwater.

Ardhill drinks often underwater. As people say the plastic pouches seem to work well.

Niknaks also (I think) does a pack that sits between your twins with a hose with a tap that allows you to drink.
