| I've tried to photograph jewellery before like that. I found that mounting the camera on a tripod and then zooming in as far as possible and shooting with the timer allowed me to have a close up of the face without the blur from moving the camera. Hopefully that might give you enough clarity for what you need? Hope that helps a bit! Si
