| There are a number of ways to learn how to use a twinset. 1. Find a friend who can show you the basics 2. Trial and error on your own 3. Get an isntructor to teach you Each has their pluses and minuses and the best option for one person may not be the best option for another. The same question came up recently and I posted this at the time. Twinset training? For your specific position I don't think that going down the twinset route is necessary at the moment. I'd suggest doing your AOW and then getting in some UK diving as a priority.

| a similar boat I am in a similar boat, I am currently looking at switching to a a twinset and would certainly be interested at an intro course, I think £120 is pretty good value for Impartial advice before a spend 7 or 8 times that much on a set up, If anyone is running a course in the near future let me know. |

| i'll give another vote in favour of doing a twinset course. I didnt but had people to guide me and offer advice, i only recently saw other ways of acieiving the same outcome that could have saved a bit. I spent a fair bit getting it right for me over a period of a year - a course would shortcut this process dramatically. The other main benefit of a familiarisation course would be to look at the options with twin sets and maybe try some of the variations - or at least see others trying the variations.
