| Great Idea Is it more geared towards Recovery or Rescue? I.e rapid response times, on call etc (simmilar to cost guard) Sorry not trying to but any negative on it as I always thougth there should be a 5/6th emergency service: Police Fire Ambulance Cost Guard Mountain Rescue Underwater Rescue Great for taking the initiative and I hope the framework, works and is rolled-out along the coast |

| Just to answer the questions: Frosty - the Konig is currently closed, but should be re-opened by the time the dive season starts up here. DDD - Yes it is the kind of thing we need funding for. John has offered the use of the boat, line etc for a training day in the near future. We are looking at becoming a charity. Mark C - we are purely about recovery. Rescue is something that is more covered by ODBOA (orkney dive boat operators association) and they are currently liaising with the Coastguard regarding procedures for this. It was John who got the ball rolling with this, so the credit should go to him really

| Good luck with it, not a pleasent diving experience but would give families relief in the wake of tradegy.

| Good stuff everyone. I have to say it's great to see how all the operators up there seem to work together for the good of the Scapa industry as a whole even though you're all competing for business. Keep up the great work and I sincerely hope that John's boat and line for a day every now and then is about as much diving as the OUSU ever get to do. |

| An excellent thing you are all undertaking, I hope the missing diver is located as soon a possible. Safe diving, Steve
