This is the right kind of service we all need but I'd add that last weekend we got very similar service from Paul on Brighton Diver 2, he gave us loads of notice when Friday's trip was cancelled. He also made exactly the right call re Monday, Vis was crap but the sea conditions were fine for getting in/out.

I'm sure Smudge will explain why but if it's any consolation, when we were out on Sunday, we heard from the coastguard on the radio that the Ice Prince was still being salvaged. I think that might preclude any diving on it.
Not much consolation but hopefully it explains why?

we have 2 other dates with 2 other boats and skippers before this date and Mark Chase has had the ok from the CG or so he says so i cant see it being that

we cant force skippers to take us out, if he feels its beyond what he wants to do (or feels safe to do) thats his choice

he has given ample notice with the possible trip 8 weeks away, its not like its tomorrow or next week

Id rather him can it know than short notice, or worse, on the day on the way out
