Anyone got a clue about the malta-temperatures in june? Saved up for a trip from the 10th to the 24th, and I'm hoping to sqeeze in as many dives as possible, and since there supposedly is close to 16 degrees in the water now, which is very close to rash-guard temperatures if u ask me, I'm kinda hoping that it'll be even warmer when I get there

Hi Epilog - welcome!

Of course it will be warmer when you get here , the weather is starting to settle down now, and I clocked 17 degrees in the water yesterday, but it was in one of the bays.

It should be at least 18 degrees by June, and ramping up steadily.

BTW, one of my weather guru's told me last night that because it has been such a bad winter, we should be having a great, and really hot (as opposed to just hot) summer - but don't quote me on that

ah, sounds Like I actually HAVE to stay submerged just to keep cool Crossing my fingers and hoping that your weather-guru is wrong as can be ( I don't function very well in the heat. tend to get reduced to a beer-sipping lump of pink stuff whenever the sun throws a look my way).

Any experienxe regarding gear? bring your own or rent? kinda nervous about bringing my gear as I'm pretty scared of it being stolen. - stolen gear = having to get a job to buy new gear :P

Never done scuba without a drysuit, so I am counting the days!
