Smile A good place for a solo bimble

Bearing in mind I dont want to start a solo v buddy diving discussion, Can anyone suggest any sites suitable for a solo bimble, other than Swanage pier I am at a bit of a loss of places to get wet, I am not looking for anything deep or challanging just somewhere to play with my twinset and muck around with my trim and configuration without dragging a buddy along.

I am based in Bath so anywhere within a couple of hours drive would be ideal.

Cheers

Chesil Cove. Portland.

No tide to speak of and calm when the wind is zero or blowing from the East or North.

Chesil is a bit of a bind in a twinset on your own. The other problem with going completely on your own is who will zip your suit (if you don't have a front loader)?

Burton Bradstock - very similar to Chesil, but a gentle sandy slope to get in and out instead of the horrendous pebbles, and you park virtually on the beach.

Brixham breakwater - park next to the beach

Babbacombe - as above

Ladram bay - as above

Newtons Cove, Weymouth, although it might be a bit shallow

I've had solo bimbles at Babbacombe and Brixham. Just make sure you don't stray too far and be aware of the tides.
