Bit of an aside, but there was a control test done on pigs and likelyhood
of getting DCI.

They had both fit and unfit fat pigs.
and
Fit and unfit, thin pigs.

Yes before you ask, they put them on a treadmill.
Potted down and given some nastie profiles, so who got bent more?

Yep the unfit pigs.

The conclusion was that being fat doesnt make you more likely to get bent,
then thin, but in both cases it was the unfit pigs that got bent.

Doesnt matter what body shape you are, being unfit makes you
more likely to get DCI.

Running 5 or 6 times a week has made no difference to my SAC at all
Its a great cure for a hang over though

Stowell Street no good?

As a veggy I nearly starved to death in China

My only vice is Brown Ale. (oh and real ale and wine and lager and JD...)

If you were a veggie in China for any period of time mate then you are either very brave or very stubborn cause trying to get across the concept of what a vegetarian was to a chinese person was bloody difficult - how long were you there for?

Oh and elaborate on Stowell Street, is it in the Toon or in Darlo? I'd kill for Da Pan Ji and a few other chinese dishes I've never seen in the UK.

Stowell Street is Chinatown or Chinatoon in Newcastle, loads of places to get Chinese food (or as they call it in China, food). I was only on the mainland for a week and ended up, last night, in Hong Kong going for a pizza, heaven. Having said that I don't rate Italy for Pizzas either, probably some American invetion.

Good luck.

Probably had to change menu to cope with the delicate North East palette

Get a dog, 15min walk in the morning and 1hr in the afternoon. If the walk involves large hills you get all the fitness benefits without the associated damage to knees (running) and pride (lycra).

As Garf says keep a variety in the exercise and you cant go far wrong. Oh ... and remember - less pie more salad.
