| Seeing anything that I haven't seen before, anything unexpetcted appearing out of the edge of viz limits, octopus anytime, no mobile phones, laptops or any other electronic device that will connect me to the office. Beers and banter afterwards. |

| My favourite things on dives have been: - finding colour where I didn't expect it - the look you get from a fish when you crest a rock formation and it looks up from feeding as if to say "what are you doing here?" - seeing the bottom of a boat on the surface from 20m. (Not in the UK obviously) I guess I'm easily pleased too

| Its the sense of peace and tranquility that always does it for me. Gently bimbling about (doesn't matter if its 6 or 60 metres) I can focus on the dive and just forget about the world up above.

http://www.divingniknaks.com/video/mantas.wmv I remember turning up at the dive outfit and saying we're here for 9 days, what's the chances of seeing them? Thierry said "Hmm, you should be OK" in that Gallic way. 10 dives, saw multiples of them on 9 dives, the only reason we didn't see them on the 10th, was we deliberately went where they don't go. Awesome. Simply awesome. .
