I took some friends of ours up there last weekend as they wanted to see what The Metropolis Eyemouth looked like and it was crap. Loads of white stuff and wind etc., but forecast is changeable at present, according to the local weather bods!!

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Thats two bad weekends for Billy in a row, he only managed to get 14 divers in the water over the weekend out of 96 possible because of the weather, and it looks like nothing this weekend. Hope it isn't going to be another nightmare year for the skippers...

Our trip to Eyemouth was cancelled and this was probably the case with Abbs and the Farnes. Although the sun was great up here the sea was quite choppy and winds were blowing. So, I doubt anyone got out.

Sadly, this is a familiar scenario this year as the weather's been crap for ages, so the season has yet to start really.

Our club trip to St Abbs is canned for this weekend due to bad winds apparently
