| lost a cheap wristwatch when taking off wet suit, as I took off the second layer the watch flew over the RIB to the sea. Learned from that never to trust wrist computers, so got a Cobra atached to me. I reckon I would loose a wrist computer and batch it about the boat by 5 dive trips.

| At Trefor Pier a few years ago after a dive there, I packed my undersuit/drysuit with epirb in pocket into it's black baggie and placed in the back of the van. Left the thing unlocked for 5 mins and some scroats out of a camper parked next to the van pinched the bag whilst we were helping two other divers figure there camera out nearby. Didn't realise 'till I got home 3 hours later. About £1000 of kit went missing. Lyv |

| I only seem to flood torches, everything else goes home with me. I have had a few UK600s flood and a Ikelite D8 recently. Now that I have a $380 torch I may be more carefull! My first loss was a UK600 with neprone cover. The lanyard came loose while I was on the Hispania. I tied it back on and it stayed with me for the whole dive. As I climbed the ladder back into the Jane R however, the torch caught under the bottom rung as I stood up. The lanyard parted again and, despite the floating cover, was never seen again. Did have a friend who dropped his £1000 camera. He thought it was clipped on and let go to pass his weight belt to the boat....away it went. We know where it sank but have not been back for a look yet.
