Gardaland

Maybe worth a day trip if you are not too far away. Leave the lad on the beach with the pretty Italian lasses

Chris
Chrisch

Many thanks for that.

You're right about the youngest and Gardaland, as for the lad and the Italian lasses, he'll be going to Gardaland too as I'm s**gged if I'm learning Italian just to talk to a horde of grandchildren !

Fnally spotted your thread.
Brilliant wreck diving around Rome and Genoa and down my way in Maratea there are walls, grottos, caves and wrecks. The Aeolian Islands are also superb

Trying to avoid southern Italy as , although I'd love it, the family aren't too good with the heat ( despite the reflective power of pink Irish skin ! )

Genoa / Portofino keeps cropping up and sounds more like it - any particular place I could get in touch with ?

Thanks for the reply.

Chris

Genoa

No problem, Corderia nazionale are good, as are Portofino Divers - Recreational and Technical Dive Center
there are loads of dive centres around the area and I also know some divers in the area who have formed informal clubs. I will check out my old email list for you :-)
