Darwin Award
I want to nominate myself for a Darwin Award

I've currently got a KISS rebreather sat in the lounge waiting for my MOD1 course in a couple of weeks but I'm getting desperate to dive it to sort out my trim, weighting, hose routing etc

Was thinking about filling it with cat litter and diving it on bailout

It's shite having a new toy and not being able to play with it

Why not fill it with lime and dive it without touching your bailout?

If you aren't comfortable doing that then do what most homebuilders start off doing, go in on a pure O2 loop. If you flush every now and again then it is hard to go wrong. Caveat I'm sure there are a lot of people in the world who wouldn't find it that hard to go wrong...

I've been waiting 3yrs to do Mod 1...

Hmm.
I took thing s slowly before my Mod 1.

Spent about three hours in the pool with the unit, a couple of shallow splashes in a puddle. Then loaded with 18/40 for a short (35min deco) 46M sea dive. Think I was around 20 hours before I booked a course
