Our club uses the Marinox O2 therapy Boat kit. A very good piece of kit! think it cost £500 - £600. Dont know if this will be a bit expensive! for poor students!!! Marinox Therepy Unit

we have one of those so matching the second would make sense. also if anyone has a kit they want to sell to needy students feel free!! as for the price, its just something were going to have to deal with and hope that the insurance cough up.

This may be your answer !!! See O2 kit for sale on 'for sale' forum board

Has your club tried for a lottery grant! Ours did and got about £5000 for saftey equipment and training had to be spent in a year tho! A fair bit of paperwork involved but could be worth a try

we've been talking to the union and they have a fund/insurance for things that are essential for safety so it looks like they will be helping us with the o2. as for the lottery we have a member who has successfully completed an application for his old club so we will be trying to get some shiny new kit in the future. |

Our club use a 15L 100% O2 cylinder with a set of regulators/facemasks that are fitted in the same way as a scuba reg. This makes it easy to stash on a boat as it's really just an extra cylinder and means that if the main O2 were to run out we could always use any high-O2 deco gas around.
