If I was your employer and this is the crap I'd heard you spouting you'd be looking for a new job or I'd be seriously worried about your ability to do your job.

Why not get your facts from people that actually know? This is a good start http://www.statistics.gov.uk/elmr/04...ELMR_Apr08.pdf

Or maybe Disposable income at lowest level in 10 years - Telegraph

Or perhaps Disposable income is growing at the slowest rate for 25 years - Telegraph

Or maybe you could ask your Mum and Dad. I'm sure they have a more realistic grasp on the term disposable income than some spotty little oik with neither the life experience nor the basic fundamental qualification to discuss the topic.

What a totally boring thread.

If there weren't enough people already telling me that I shouldn't go diving because I'm not fit enough now it has to be that I'm not young enough.

The one theme seems to be that I shouldn't go diving because I'm not them.

yeah your right, im getting older by the day.

I was 18 when i 1st dived (taster dive on holiday), but did a proper qualification at the grand age of 19. And a few yrs later i joined a BSAC club aged 23.

feck me im 32 this yr and still diving, as you quite rightly said were an aging population in this sport.
