2 twin 12s and a set of 16s plus 2 wings should be enough. It was a valve I broke the last time and not a manifold. At least I din't lose anything on a dive...

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

And there in a nutshell is your problem. You can't work out how you've upset people, which instantly tells me you are not quiet as clever as you think you are, to put it another way feckin thick.

Those who know me will know that I don't get involved in arguements on YD and I can't remember ever insulting anyone on here. I read your original post several times and was aware that you wanted an arguement (you said so yourself).

This is simply not true Ben. How do we older divers push out younger ones? I have dived with some fantastic 18 and 19 year olds and praised them to the hilt. You seem to have a personal axe to grind.

I never said I was good in the water, please god, I dread ever typing this message.

You did say you were blowing your own trumpet though. And I don't know why you type the stuff you do. I suspect that you have problems communicating your ideas.

Why not simply ask why there are not many young people, in your experience, learning to dive? Instead you wrote a lengthy diatribe, asking people to argue with you. And then get cross when they do.

Now, back to your question....

2 years ago I spent 9 months doing DSDs, bubblemaker and Junior open water courses 6 days a week. Let me tell you, in the Med, when people are on holiday, loads of kids and young people learn to dive.

Last year I had several students under 18. All were praised and encouraged to continue developing their diving.

In your experience, maybe you haven't seen many or dived with many people your age. But you make generalizations and assumptions based on just your experience. This may cause arguements (again you asked for one).

So stop having a paddy, think before you write and have some respect for the thoughts and experiences of those older and maybe just a little wiser and more experienced than you are.

Oy! That is what I PM'd him and what Scubee said...you're just copying us

Ben...listen to what the nasty people are saying and try and make it 4 days before you kick up another sh1tstorm!

If you want to see what dwang Howard got himself into, have a search back a couple of years and you will see the advice he got. Not that he paid much attention to it!!
