| Jayzus, talk about going off on a tangent??? Steve went to this thing curious about the DIR style. Liked what he saw skills wise but went away not quite convinced if this was the DIRection (do ya like that??) he wanted to take. Why does it have to be handbags at ten paces when someone shows a bit of enthusiasm for something that's new to them. DIR isn't a big thing in Ireland (not that it's exactly huge in the UK for that matter) and I know there are many threads on here going over and over the good and bad elements but I wonder are people just looking for DIR in the thread title so they can grind the auld axe. I understand that threads like Lostdivers recent one don't help by the way. If I posted a CMAS/BSAC/PADI/SSI....yeah right I have seen the light thread would people react the same way?? Steve, you didn't have to set fire to my kit and steal my lunch money after training though just coz you went to a DIR session you know Play nice kiddies.
