Due to the unfeasably good weather we have been having in Orkney , stocks of ice cream are running at an all time low.
The main problems seem to be centred around the original vanilla and the orkney honeycomb varieties although the crisis is not just limited to this tasty duo.
A spokesman for the industry Willie McWippy has said "We blame these new fangled diving types coming here with their strange eating habits and fancy oxygen bottles" this follows past accusations of divers overcrowding the chippy and even once running the Stromness Co-Op out of pot noodles.
So do us and the diving industry in general a favour, when travelling to Scapa do NOT forget to pack your 2 litre tub of neopolitan or for those of you that are flying a handy travel size tub of raspberry ripple.

nooooo u cant run out of ice cream - thats my staple food when i live up there... well that and the deep fried cheese... and guiness... mmmmmmmmmm
