Which would be a very, very good point, if there wasnt as much if not more
pressure from certain quarters to do even more training

Depends if what's being taught is really neccessary for that individual.

Maybe in a lot of cases it would be better to just go diving and improve
the skills that are already there.

I stated categorically that it was silly and not clever at all. I would not encourage anyone else to do it.

Part of my point was, as I stated earlier, I am more conservative in my diving as I get older. I know I am not indestructable and now take fewer risks than I used to. I am now wiser.

And just to say, in my defence, at the time I did the cheeky bounce, it was at the start of the dive and only a bounce. So narcosis didn't come into it.

Right - I'm off to Oxfam with my old clothes now.

Really? Why? You could say you have less to loose now than when you were younger?

Really? I was going to go into a Young One's/Felicity Kendal's underwear routine but I wouldn't do that to you!

Ahhhh Felicity Kendall ... the lady who, if you take the letters of her name and take some away, then add in some different ones, it spells "I love you"
