Angry bloody torch

the bloody thing is cursed!

I bought a CD halogen 2nd hand for £100 off fleabay. (i'm a cheap skate I know)

1. It arrives and the canister neck o ring is split (cheers to WWD/gary for lending me his HID for my wreck course last month).
2. Cant find goodmans handle for it as CD don't do them any more (cheers John Perrin who is sorting me out with one for a great price)
3. Source O rings from CD, they arrive this morning. Open actaul head to change all O rings in the torch and the flamin halogen reflector is cracked (it was not yesterday!).

I'm now off to B&Q to try and find an open ended one that fits!

Rant over

I do not know if this works with the CD torch but you can buy the mr16 12 volt halogen lamps ( the open fronted ones are best ) then useing the edge of a decent small triangular file cut the lamp away leaving the refrector I found the 10degree reflector worked best.

I went to B&Q, Focus &Bailey Buildbase (who have a dedicated lighting showroom) and found a lot of MR16's but no open ended ones.

Screw fix saved the day as they had the exact replacement osram. Only trouble is I now have a pack of 5 .
