Sunday down in Portland was lovely and had a very nice dive from Cutlass on the Alex Van Opstal with 5+m of viz. Heard good reports about Saturday too though wasn't down in time to dive. Monday was mostly blown out I think

Had a great weekend doing the Clyde, sea state was moderate (I'd say) but viz was 4-5m, great for the Clyde. We stayed at the water sports center on Great Cumbrae, running out on ribs. Splendid. 4 dives over 4 days (Beagle x2, Kintyre and mtb), others got 6 but we bottled a couple.

Brought the dive forward on Saturday due to the forecast increase in wind, so we weren't on slack but did a drift in an area leeward of Brighton. Glad I wasn't out any later.

Fairly shallow reef dive. Lots of plankton, 1-2m of vis.

Very tasty spider crab and brown crab in the goody bag.

It wasn't a bank holiday here in Ireland but I got a nice shallow bimble on Saturday out in Co Galway. Viz about 5-7m, water temp 13C which was nice all things considered.

Our bank holiday is this weekend so should be doing some dives in Co Clare, forecast is looking good at the moment...woo hoo

Saturday in Portland was fine. It blew up overnight so was a bit rough early on Sunday but got better all day and had a great dive on the Alex Van Opstal late on Sunday. Monday was blown out, more due to conditions loading on the pontoon rather than sea conditions.
