| I think Northlink Ferries in Aberdeen is your best bet too. Relax in the bar on the ferry overnight Just under 4 hour drive from Seahouses (sorry not been further south on A1 than that). Very easy drive - does not feel like it takes long. Heading north around Edinburgh follow signs for Forth Road Bridge. On way back follow signs for A720 City Bypass SOUTH.
