| Ahem. Did I mention that........... I have a bunch of crockery etc that cleaned up nice, but my first real spidge was this: Porthole. Well she did ask!!!

| My only real spidge was some howitzer bases from the Basil. I didn't even have to go looking for them, just dropped down the shot and there was a liftbag down there, covered in barnacles, and full of spidge I also got a few electrical plugs from 1903 or something off the Shirala Not had a porthole yet

| OK ![]() 1 of the howitzer bases, after I cleaned it up a bit. It's not super shiny because it hasn't been polished in 3 years (I was abroad, it was in the garage ![]() These bit go bang when you drop them ![]() This base had all of the bags of cordite still in it, and intact, I dried them out on top of the boiler!! ![]() Base of the howitzer. At the top you can make out 4.5" (size of the casing) and at the bottom it has 1916 (Date of manufacture) They are small, but I am proud of them
