| stoney yes your right i forgot its £12 i should know i was there last weekend. Im pleased im not the only 1 who thinks this. The other thing what made me mad there was the fact they charge people to reserve parking spaces which really isnt fair on people who cue up early to get a space. maybe its just a way to make more money. I went to move the car doen to botom car park but car park attendant wasnt going to have it then he let a non diver park down there so he had no choice in end. How come you lived in the back of your van? |

| The toilets and changing rooms/showers are the thing that SC should work on next, that is for sure. They have finished the shop/school building now, which took all their ime and money for quite a few years (understandably) and before that, they had to do the access road, but as a result the other facilities are way behind the times really, especially considering the number of people that are now using the place. I don't see why they couldn't use the old shop building to make a new set of changing facilities and toilets, ladies upstairs and gents downstairs (or vice versa).

| yes i must admit the facilities at stoney are in a word !!! shit !!! and thats coming from someone whos done his fair share of diving there! stoney cove know that there will always be people diving there as its the most accesable site to both and south for training and pleasure diving ! i use the word pleasure very loosly ! ive got used to useing the facilities with blocked toilets and knee deep in piss on a busy weekend day ! capers is a little more friendly dive site as well

They make lots of money, all of the improvements seem to be directed at the money making facilities! The gents toilets are not fit for animals! No toilet rolls at times! no soap always! the hand dryers have been broken for years! I know that you need jabs before you dive abroad sometimes but i am getting them for stoney just in case!

| The hand dryers have worked every time I have been there, but the rest I agree with... Has anyone asked SC what their plans are for upgrading the facilities ?

| Was at Capers yesterday and it knocks the spots off Stoney. Wet cafe, nice big terraces, bbq etc. Even though we arrived mid morning we got parked easily and had not too bad a walk to the water. I can vouch that the toilets were fine as I think I used every one :-( The urinals were bust in the new bit though. Stoney gets mega busy and doesn't seem to want to give anything back to the diver. I just wish Capers was a little nearer or I wouldn't go to Stoney at all. The shop looks lovely at Stoney, but it would be nice if they had some bogs at that end as well.
