I would like to find one that had easy access with reasonable depth locally, we've got a 92m one with no shallow bits or an 8m one with lots of fish and some cars. Something betwen the 2 would be ideal.

None of the local quarry owners/operators are up for divers playing in their already flooded quarries, and there are hundreds of them

I've found a flooded quarry 2 miles from my house, but no-one knows the owner.

There's loads near where I work, see how many you can find?

ooo dun warna be doiving in dem qwerries . or you end up like the population of st austell

Hi.

Buy the deepest biggest quarry that you can, you then fill it full of landfill, charge thousands/millions to fill it.

Walk away with a grin on your face, buy a large boat and go dive in the sea.

There are enough duck ponds to dive in!.

Don't joke !
Thats what they local council have done with the only quarry for miles !!
SWMBO and I spent ages looking for the thing that we found on a map ( in the wrong place) and when we got there they had just turned it into a building waste recycling plant ! and received a big wod from uncle EU,,,
Why ,,,why all the buildings around here are stone,,, recycled mountains
End of rant ,,,sorry,,,
