Anyone else who thinks it is okay to dive deep with no proper experience is a pump-faced-witch.

Not rambling but good advice Paul that is what is needed...sure nats will take the advice of everyone and dive safely or is that conservatively.

as long as its planned and thought through and the risks understood and mitigated 40m is not too different from 30 or 20 for that matter, think about it, plan it and dive it.

Wastwater . . .

40-odd mtrs . . .

You're all forgetting one thing . . .

GNOMES!

The little beggars will quietly swim up behind you, turn off your air, then gaffer tape your inflate button down.

Happens loads of times . . . I've seen it!

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Totaly agree with you there soggy.... as with all dives they should be planned and any risk minimised.

Divers should know their limits and dive within their limits.

Its not depth or divesites that kill divers its reckless divers that kill themselves!!
