Ahh yes I remember well, I have over the years had several platonic "girl" freinds, its very easy as long as you remember the basic meaning of the word PLATONIC.

Its probably based on some french word, and if I remember correctly from french lessons at school (many years ago and i was crap at it anyway) french words are either male or female so:
dictionary meanings

Platonic (female) - We are just good freinds, hes a good mate, nothing will ever happen I dont think of him that way.

Not that it's happened to me thou, i can safely say that every woman I've shared a room/bed with has thought about making the beast with two backs with me. It's not their fault, their not made of wood. It's just something i have to live with

Ok let's cut to the chase as it's been touched on a little here:

Assuming that neither of you are gay ( which it appears you're not), you both think each other are mingers! I mean REAL mingers that no amount of alcoholic aphrodisiac has overcome - I mean, men don't have absolutes just pint limits (ie she's a 5 pinter etc etc) and I'm sure the same is true in the opposite direction. If this is truly platonic then you are both beyond even the limits of alcohol and would rather enter a booze-induced catatonic state than enter into a sexual liasion with such a hideous monstrosity ( I mean, puurleeease!).

Now, if this isn't actually the case then one of you (maybe both) is not being true to yourself.

As a friend of mine says to friends of his "let's lock ourselves into a room, get naked and drink and see what happens". This, I think, is the acid test of any platonic relationship. Try it and see. The fact that he is a screaming queen (by his own admittance) has no bearing on this!

Anyway, give it a go and report the results.

or if there is some attraction...
