Boned is the past tense, so not really relevant outside of page 1 of this thread, and 'Bonus', is, well...... seeing seals.

Yeah, but then there's the one that breaks all the rules. The Mortgagee is the Mortgage company, but by your ruling should be the borrower. The Mortgagor is the person borrowing the money. So that one is the wrong way round!

(yep, I used to do mortgage repossessions for a living! Sad, eh?!?!)

To Bone would be the verb.

Like To lease is a verb.
The person who had the boner would be a bonor (leasor), and gave it to the reciever of the boner, the bonee (lessee).

Maybe?

No, the rule is sound. The mortgagor is the one offering the mortgage, the security commonly in the form of their property. The lender of the finance, monies, is the mortgagee accepting the security against the loan.

Yes, I was an accountant in a previous life, qualified and everything

Ah, but the Mortgagor still has to pay the Mortgagee? For god knows how many years?

So that makes us both correct.

bonor - giver of the holy bone
bonee - receiver of the holy bone

ok i'm squared away with the giving of the holy bone.

i still think due to sheer weight of evidence compiled via the internet that HD and Will were Bonor and Bonee, though i'm not able at this time to say which was which.

Like the fragrant Mrs Trellis and the esteemed captain Meatwhacker, I too am disgusted at the tone of this thread. It is entirely indicative of the moral laxity which is endemic within modern society that matters of such base depravity are now deemed suitable for open discussion.

It may be an old fashioned view but I for one would not dream of allowing such matters as fornication, self polution, and homosexual pervertion to be mentioned under my roof let alone, spit roasting, ATM, snowballing, bullfrogging, tea bagging, tromboning, HMFing, indoor skiing, DVDA, hot Karl, brown wings or the wallnut manoeuvre.

In disgust,

Dr F.T. Whitearse
