Well hows this for platonic, last year my buddy rang me on the tuesday said what you doing next week? I replied working sleeping eating same as always. he said how do you fancy a weeks liverboard in Egypt, my reply I've just spent £2,000 on a new boiler do you think I have fairies at the bottom of me garden. His reply its all booked paid for I just need a buddy to dive with, his buddy let him down at the last minute. I went had the best weeks diving ever and we spent every night sleeping on deck on the sun beds me sandwiched between 2 of the greatest guys ever. In answer to your question yes you can have platonic friends, have fun in the Farnes and forget what anyone says.
