No you muppet, cause you rub the cream onto dry skin until it goes dry,
then it creates a barrer. If the skin is wet when you apply it, the cream
cant work.

I did get the wink BTW.

Agreed. I normally suffer badly but last year I used it for 12 dives in Scapa and 7 dives in a week off Weymouth and didn't have an issue at all. Well worth it and it does go a long way.

This year when I went to Scapa I forgot and in 2 days I had raw skin. Dived 2 days this weekend and had no problems at all.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Siopel is another good waterbroof barrier cream with an antiseptic ingredient too.

So long as you're not allergic to peanuts

edit: Siopel contains peanut oil so it's not suitable....

I rest my case, you forgot and got sore, doesn't happen with neoprene and you don't have the faffing.

You need a low head to neck circumference ratio for neoprene seals though....

Just visit the pie shop more often fat neck or no neck problem solved

I asked a few people when I was getting the neck seal rash what was causing it and everyone I asked came back with the same answer "latex allergy" people consulted included LDS, MD of a drysuit manufacturing company, local GP and a dive doc.

General reservation was that neo tends not to be as watertight as latex but I haven't had much trouble, just don't swivel your neck too far when watching your buddies fcuk up.

I don't think it is latex allergy. I think that if it were you would get a more severe reaction each time, including on the wrists as latex allergy is a sensitisation issue. It can even get as severe as anaphalaxis.

I used to believe it was a reaction, but now I am convinced it is abrasion. The change to neoprene would solve this as the edge is now 'soft' not sharp, but it isn't for everyone.
