Most times i fill to 250 bar then let it cool back to 230bar over night in the pond. If on OC if i needed the extra gas then id re fill it in this cold state to 250 again.

However be warned that on a sunny day on the dive boat I have had nearly 300bar showing on my gauges.

Then you have to strap that bomb to your back and jump in which if you understand anything about coefficients of linear expansion and metal fatigue an does wonders for your constipation

As an aside, the best over fill comment I have hered very recently is. "If your filling 02 to 300 bar dont use a push button presure release on your whip as a three foot jet of flame will shoot out as you press the button"

yup, it's in the encyclopedia of diving knowledge, and I think there are questions on it in the diving knowledge workbook. PADI, as stated elsewhere, use the ruyle of thumb that 1 degree C change in temperature = 0.6 bar change in pressure, although charles law is explained in more detail than this.

<sigh>
You tied the shot weight round his neck and pushed him over the side I trust.
No jury with a physicist on it would convict you.
