Bloody taxman sure you will all have a few words to say about it.
Is it for real and can they do this were the first thought that went through my empty head....(being a yorkshire bloke it was more like by eck tha tekin piss lad)

Dear Mr. (Frog)

We are very sorry to inform you that the fuel surcharge has risen again. The sudden rise in oil price is well publicised, but it is still a very
unpleasant task to have to advise you that this increase needs to be added to the invoice for your holiday. This will be the fifth increase
this year, plus a new “eco tax” being levied as per July 1st. This most recent change involves two increases. The first applies immediately
and there is another increase after June20th. The first increase is an extra £18.50 per person.

However,as we have had some advance warning and to avoid the second increase (which in your case would work out to £70.50 per person)
we are writing to all our customers to inform them that all tickets purchased and issued before June 20th will not include the second increase.
Although the final balance is not due until 4th October, we thought it better to pre-warn you of this and give you the option of paying early to
avoid the second charges.

Please do not feel obligated or under any pressure to pay the balance as that is not our intention. We are simply trying to stop anybody receiving

any unexpected charges before they travel.
Thanks for your interest in our holidays

I thought they could add a surcharge of up to 10% of the holiday cost, I'm guessing that they are right in saying it can be avoided if the tickets have already been issued. Might be wrong though.

Greg

We have already paid fuel surcharges of £150 just after booking and now more and the eco tax too.
what will come next is my concern a surcharge for the meal as food cost have increased...but you are maybe right will have to pay up or pay up if that makes sense....
