Divers Warehouse...internet insecurity
I was just about to start entering my credit card details when I noticed that the divers warehouse online purchase page is not secure (http and no padlock).

This was just after the good price got called into question when they slapped on a £7.80 delivery charge to a £70 order.

Now I'll probably get a higher price if I call them as I won't get their 'web discount'.

I'm just shocked that a company that has been trading on the web for a few years does not at least have a secure payment service.

I'll have to start looking again

When I've brought from DW in the past, I've asked for the web price in the shop & got it (sometimes better!). Some of this could be to do with our club connection as we use them soooo often (eg. hire loads of thier drysuits practically every weekend etc. etc.!!). I'd say it's worth a try. If you can, speak to Brett, although everyone seems to be doing this nowadays (ummm, wonder why???) so he tends to be very busy.

It is strange indeed not to have a secure server - normally its a given with the internet banking service provider.

Another very busy dive kit site is quite easily hackable to change the prices you then pay.........
