    Safe diving practice

Can someone tell me what the PADI equivalent to BSAC's Safe Diving Practice please. Reason for asking is that I have arranged a club trip however we have a couple of PADI qualified divers with us and I just want to include that in the pre dive brief.

    Cheers

I think it's something along the lines of "To be a safe diver, make sure you do the same amount of ascents as descents"

    I think that covers it

Tell the bloody heathens to to stop twatting around and join BSAC before their half arsed training drags them to oblivion Yaz.

Alternatively as they're not BSAC and are presumably qualified divers operating within their own agency training leave them to get on with their own thing!!

I wouldn't worry about it Yaz. just be thankful they're not GUE qualified.

They will be able to get on with their own thing but they will also have to listen to a few minutes diving brief and I do not want to make them feel excluded by referring to BSAC stuff only. Its called social inclusion

Any Padi diver thats diving in the uk for half a season will already have had plenty of exposure to BSAC ways. If they havnt picked it up yet they never will.

Chances are they'll know enough to know what your talking about.

I shud kno, I are one.
Sea dives this year = 15, UK dives this year = 5, Total dives = 150
    trips blown out = 1
    Spidge lifted = Cannonball

padi divers are naturally safe divers

just enforce the S.A.F.E diver* methods and the rest should be fine

    *slowly, ascend from every dive
