I've been using it for months. The best thing about it isn't the small size, the improved security, the popup blocker, or anything else.

It's the legions of plugins! The mouse gestures one is particularly useful, and the adblock plugin is great - stops all those "You've just won a prize" and "Your computer clock may be wrong" banner ads.

It's a superb browser as it:

Blocks popups at the browser level
Prevents sites from installing applications that you don't want
Enables downloads to be restarted should you loose the connnection

And best of all, it's not by Microsoft

It just adds another browser you can choose to use -- IE is left alone. I expect it can be removed with the add/remove thingy, it's trivial to remove under Linux and Mac OS so I can't see it being a pain under Windows.

I use Opera, and it's brilliant.

Only downside is some websites (eg Esure) attempt to detect if you're using the latest version of your browser, and complain if you're not using IE (blah) or above, or Netscape (blah) or above. Sadly they don't recognise antthing else and ask you to update your browser, so I wheel out IE for those moments.

Laters,
Janos
