| Is Sky+ so different from normal Sky? I take a coaxial (normal TV) cable from the back of my Sky box and put it into the previous TV wiring. I've got a plug in booster in the middle. I can watch Sky from anywhere there was previously a TV arial point. I can't control the channels etc though if that's what you want. |

| Assuming you have Sky+ V2, although they're all the same. You probably have an antenna coming down from your loft / roof. Assumption is then it splits when it gets downstairs and links into your other rooms? If so, then you need to do the following; See attached image: On the back of the box there's three Aerial sockets - One is labelled Aerial In - this is the standard input from your external 'normal' TV Aerial. Usually your Aerial will come into your VCR and then through the Sky+ box. RF Out - 1 then goes into the Aerial input on your regular TV. RF Out - 2 is a powered antenna output - you can use this output in two ways; 1: Link your aerial 'network' into this output. Then tune your TV's into the same channel your Sky+ outputs on. 2: (wot I did) - Run a 75 Ohm coax cable from this box up to your second TV. Buy something called a "Sky TV Link" from Argos and a second Sky+ remote. It'll take you through enabling the power on the second outlet (Services, 4,0,1, Select to get to the secret installers menu), then you place the remote eye unit between the aerial cable and the input on your second TV. Suffice to say you will be able to remote control your Sky+ unit from the second TV location. Hmm. That's not very clear. Let me knock up another diagram.

| You can get a TV Sender which plugs into the scart lead on the back of the Sky+ box and transmits the video and stereo sound wirelessly to a second box within 50m or so. However, they cost about £50, but work pretty well. Argos sell them. Cheap model - 534/3786 for £39.99 or 534/1135 for £59.99 The advantage with these things is that they're moveable and removeable.
