Can you not get the drivers from the canon website? What scanner you got mate, I use the canoscan N650U. If you have the same I can let you have these drivers.

Hi I have changed my system from ME to XP pro and im trying to load all my hardware back I put in the CD and loaded it up, but I got a message that it would not run because TWAIN is not present, should I have the drivers off the CD , or is TWAIN something different and if it is why is it not on the Canon Cd, and yes it is the Canon N650U

The TWAIN stuff will be part of the drivers for scanner - download and install the latest drivers and all will be well - you can't get TWAIN software on its own.


Incidentally, did you know that TWAIN actaully stands for "Technology Without An Interesting Name" ?
