| as per my PM, nope. I've now resorted to the Belkin Media Reader, which is a battery powered memory card reader that plugs into the dock port. It chews through the 4x AAA batteries (use rechargeables instead) and has fairly slow data transfer if you've got a lot of data on the card. I've heard of other portable storage devices that are infinitely better for photo backup if you will be taking a gigabytes of photos over the course of a trip. Although the DX5000g can take RAW images at 10mb each, the time it takes to write the data means I take very few shots at this resolution and so don't have massive amounts of data to backup each night. My backups are more for security in case of a problem with the card, as well as to reduce the number of cards I need to have.
