NTL Broadband anybody?

Just looking for comments please, currently on BT dial up which is sooooooo slow. Want to change to Broadband and like the look of NTL. The house I'm in already has an NTL box nailed on the side though I've never used it whilst I've been here.

Has anybody got experience of their customer service as I anticipate a change of provider to be very traumatic so the more sympathetic they are the more likely they are to get my custom.

Also, any other recomendations other than NTL?

The NTL service itself seems ok, Ie the box works and it's quick, but their customer service are a right PITA - if you can get through.

Zen broadband. I use them myself and now all the geeks in the office use it so you can't get much of a better indication of a good provider than that!

NTL speeds fine but their customer service it utter pants- probably the worst on the planet.

Better to go with Force9 www.force9.net

Use NTL myself - good when its up, customer service non existant when its down..

Wanadoo are advertising a 1mb adsl service for £17.99 per month at the moment on TV.. 2gb monthly allowance - although from what I hear, this is not monitored..

We have NTL, and have to agree with others, it is good when some little B*****D doesn't vandalise the main supply box out in the street. Customer service! What's that????

we have ntl and as stated earlier when its good its good when its bad customer service is rubbish but the main points that keep me here are the free telephone line rental, the humungous amount of telly channels available,and the price.

looked into getting sky and bt yahoo broadband when ntl had an area fault for a week last year and i would have been poorer by about 40 quid a month thats at least 1 dive trip !!!

if you do have a problem with customer services ask directory enquiries for the head office number and ask for the chief executive it worked for me and i got 2 months free broadband for my inconvenience

give me a.o.l anyday although we cant get ntl where i live being so rural and the other alternative is bt broadband which sucks same as most others and a.o.l costomer service is ace and its free

i use wanadoo and have had no problems at all. the 17.99 package is great. can´t reccommend them enough.
