| I know when i was playing with some of the settings, like a pratt I inadvertantly change some which gave me a problem. I've also had a problem with the dvd+ dvd- as well, after rendering and burning it was fine on my dvd payer but not my mates, different dvd player... Disc could be dirty, dvd player lense dirty.... grabbing at straws now!! Good Luck.. |

| I'm having EXACTLY the same problems and it is driving me absolutely nuts. After hours of work on editing videos when I burn them some DVD's work with with some machines some don't and keep pausing for example. I burn them at highest quality. It's really disapointing because I slowly converting old family videos to DVD's and with the same methods some work and some don't. How can I burn them without using Pinnacle but Nero instead? I can't figure it out. Could this be a question of quality of DVD disk? |

Instead of using Pinnacle to burn the disc, on the left hand side, near the bottom, you have an option for it to create the disc content but not to burn. Choose this. Then use Nero, but only include the files that Pinnacle created in the video_ts (?) folder. Stick these in the same folder on Nero, onto the disc. I tried this the other night as a last attempt and bingo, 'Family Video Album 2004' was on the TV! |

| Hve you included dvd menus in this, if so, do they work to? |

| If you use the default, C drive, then you need to look at: C:\Auxiliary Files\menu\DVD\Video_ts The files in this directory are ALL the files you need. IN Nero, drag all these folders over to the Video_ts folder on the DVD. It's important to specify in Nero that you are burning a video DVD. If you get stuck with it, drop me an email, but it's really easy when you know how! (It's KNOWING how that is the problem!) |

Basically it turned out to be exactly as I designed it to be. |

| I have the version 8 and seen that the latest version is 11. Is it worth upgrading? Is there much of a difference?
