siemans router problems

just updated my home network to a joint lan and wireless lol well scrawed it actually, but its Saturday and no one in the tech support, can I ask you guys please.
Why can I connect with the old router and not the new the new router? I have done the all the router config to our system but no luck so far ??
I have XP on the pc's and a mac ox on the mac
I reset the router and all the macs and pc's still no internet it says it has but I can't pull a page up or log onto yahoo msg'r
Any ideas please

Are the pc's/mac's set to use the routers IP address as their default gateway?

Can you ping the gateway? If so then run tracert on a pc to any URL and you can see where the traffic is failing.

Thanks for the reply got it sorted by conteacting the isp ? for some reason as soon as he said they could see the router it started working ????

Perhaps the ISP was only recognising the MAC address of the old router. Once you spoke to them, and they saw the new AMC address, then all was OK?
