| Thanks guys, the input is brilliant! I think my next best approach, as still undecided (has deisel made that much of an advance since I last drove one?) will be to hire a few vehicles of different types and see what I get on with, driving-wise, as I admit to being a bit of a petrol-head sometimes (just watch out for that orange fiesta in the outside lane, M69 J2, 4:30am!). As for servicing an, e.g., Vauxhall lpg, do the main dealers do this if factory fitted, thus eliminating the 2 services issue? (Prius not mentioned here, as have seen the price tag Cheers, Lou

| Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I believe there is a govt scheme whereby you can claim back up to 75% of the cost of installing an LPG conversion on a car if it is less than a year old. I may be wrong.
