Which Desktop Publishing?
Hi all

I need to help a friend with some wedding invitations, can you recommend a suitable programme that is fairly easy to use. Word is not just up to it!!!

We did all our weddding stationeryusing this-invitations ,order of service,seating arrangement,place cards.

quark is indeed the nads, it also costs abloody fortune. The full version is about 1200 quid and even the express version is about 700. For some wedding invites, publisher would do the job nicely but is still about a hundred quid.

I just finished doing all my wedding stationary (9 days to go ) using MS Word. Seemed to work for me....

I found publisher annoying and wouldn't let me do exactly what I wanted to with the formatting

Word is up to it... you just have to know what you are doing, and how to tweak it!

I've just completed a newsletter for my local community centre - four page, full colour, loads of graphics, and that was all laid out in Word!
